Even the universities providing distance education does not have full online degree program.
And the student who obtains such online degree from abroad, cannot be evaluated with the equivalent degree in India.
Online education is one example, but there is some level of autonomy required in other aspects as well.
Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17684866134435901564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4273139713770751485.post-24654135376709992092018-04-30T17:20:46.620+05:302018-04-30T17:20:46.620+05:30Dear Prof Sanghi
I disagree with your IIT example ...Dear Prof Sanghi
I disagree with your IIT example as probably you are unaware of the situation at IIT Jodhpur. The present director has single handedly destroyed what could be a fine institute. The so called checks are completely absent as he is the chairman BoG.There is no one in the institute who can stand up to his whimsies. Most of the faculty out of the 54 are on contract or probation. Recently he terminated the deputy registrar on probation who has served central government for a decade. Autonomy is really dangerous if in such hands.IITJhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10780974429117131934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4273139713770751485.post-33631282636532190432018-04-30T17:20:44.066+05:302018-04-30T17:20:44.066+05:30Dear Prof Sanghi
