The increased number of student intake was at least accommodated (if not easily) within the campus, while for few other IITs managing increased load was not this easy as far as I have heard. I have seen many big companies in Europe, set-up more space-efficiently than in India. I feel, atleast many private companies, use this excuse to grab as much land as possible from the govt.
