The only bonus mark which is not available to non-Delhi students is that of 12th class performance in the board. It is because CBSE has agreed to inform IIITD about the 99 percentile cutoff, and pretty much all Delhi students are CBSE students. But it was not practical to assume that all other boards in the country will inform 99 percentile to IIIT Delhi. And also, note that even non-Delhi CBSE students don't get bonus marks since they wanted to keep the competition within non-Delhi students fair. Non-Delhi students are not competing with Delhi students as they have different quotas and hence lack of bonus marks does not create fairness issues.Dheeraj Sanghihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06367519409840642182noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4273139713770751485.post-18562999891300131942018-06-25T01:47:09.999+05:302018-06-25T01:47:09.999+05:30Sorry for not publishing the comments and replying...Sorry for not publishing the comments and replying to them earlier. If a university says that in case of X+Y programs, we will have equal content of X and Y, then X+Y is same as Y+X. But if a university says that in X+Y programs, we will have 60% content of X and 40% content of Y, then X+Y is not same as Y+X.
